Ouch. My ears are sore and weeping. Removing the beautiful gold and sapphire earrings that Seb gave me, I put them away in their velvet-lined box. Cleaning my sleepers with the special solution, I push them back into my ears. Ah, that’s better.
The silver backs that Seb chose for the earrings are quite deep and squeeze my ears. Will visit a jeweller and buy some simple gold butterflies. Want to be able to wear my special earrings without being in pain and discomfort.
There are household-tasks-that-need-doing, but they are all in the other room. Am going to write this in bed, so the unwashed saucepans, full dishwasher and messy table can’t berate me for ignoring them.
Here in my bedroom, there’s no mess. Well, the animals are all still on the floor by the windowsill but it’s the work of a moment to return them to their rightful place on the bed. Listening to the silence, I watch the swallows as they swoop and dive across my curtains.
Think am going to make a couple of phone calls. Will be able to tackle the kitchen with telephonic support.
The attached photo is the fluffy monster in the parental garden this morning. Had a few excellent cuddles with him this morning.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
